Delink of Erotic.ca.us.conflictirc.netFebruary 8th, 2010Welcome Equinox.fr.eu.nixtrixirc.net! – Latest Updates…January 28th, 2010Well lately iv’e noticed people are having problems with our US server Triforce, With its location so far away from people’s home connections they’re having troubles remaining connected without lagging. This is why it is my great pleasure to announce our latest addition to the family: Equinox.fr.eu.*, This server has been brought in for our EU users to help reduce lag when connected to the network. The new server will be administrated by sysErroR and operated by Chelle, who we’re already on the team but have just been moved to the new client server. You can connect to equinox directly by connecting to equinox.nixtrixirc.net, otherwise it is in our Round Robbin and you can connect to it randomly. We hope this reduces the problems on the network and allows for further expansion. Moving on, we can now see the website being cluttered with more content daily… We’re working hard on ensuring the website has all the information you will need when using the network. Staff Changes: As you may be aware Bertrum stepped down a few weeks ago to follow on with further projects, he still remains active within the network but wants some peace and quiet away from being staff. This meant there was an open position and we decided to bring Chelle onto our team, Chelle brings alot of new fresh ideas to the team and is always willing to help. So we wish her the best of luck. Janus: As you also may of seen the network implemented a small janus network between several different networks, this allowed us all to share channels and share users with each other. But problems have kept occuring with this software and until they are ironed out i regret to announce the link has indeed been removed until further notice. This ISNT the end of janus, we just want to ensure it’s stability to come back to the network as it was causing problems left right and center. Well, thats all from me. Until Next Time… - Nixtrix. New Year, New Start…January 10th, 2010Well as you will of noticed… We finally have a working website, and a pretty amazing one I might add… Anyway, as you will notice we now have migrated the whole website on the nixtrixirc.net domain. Firstly, I would like to take a chance and thank Tappy for all the hard work he has done for this website… Without him this website wouldn’t be here. I am greatly in his debt Secondly, I would like to announce the departure of Iceblitz.* and Isanity.*, the network felt these servers we’re no longer needed on the network and we’re just wasting resources that could be used for other purposes. We currently now only have Triforce.* and Goodtimes.* in the main RR. We are currently half way though adding content to the website, each day there will be new pages and software installed to ensure you can make nixtrixirc.net your home. Thanks, Tappy Network Stability Issues… Welcome ConflictIRC… Staff Changes?December 21st, 2009As of late you may of noticed several downtimes of services and splits between servers, this was due to a problem on our main hub.. Our hub is usually extremely stable and I haven’t been able to complain about it what so ever, so it has come to a shock to me that I’m having to write this post about downtime… None the less, We found that after contacting our hosting the power supply of the server had broken and they we’re trying to fix it to return power… 24 hours later and the server was back on… all was stable.. Until… Today I come online around 5pm GMT to see the server offline, once again after speaking with the hosting company they told me a new power supply was needed and that they we’re working on it. Well it returned around 3am GMT and is fully functional with a new power supply. Hopefully this will be the end of all the stability problems… So thats the reason for all the problems and now hopefully we can relax and chill… no more problems. Moving onto some good news, I would like to announce the partnership of ConflictIRC onto the network. As alot of you may know I’m an ex Founder of this network and left several months ago due to me wanting to start a fresh new project. ConflictIRC has merged into NixtrixIRC and you can now find its main channel (#Home) onto the network so we would like to wish its admin (FknBish) and owner (xiii13xiii – Hes also an root network admin on NixtrixIRC). Its gives me a great pleasure to announce xiii13xiii as the new co owner of NixtrixIRC, he has been with me on the network since i literally booted up the first ever server, since then hes been an excellent friend and excellent member of staff. With me running several projects at once, this allows me to ensure that the network will always been maintained even if I am not around. So congrats 13.. send the nakies to my usual email. – Nixtrix.
