Well lately iv’e noticed people are having problems with our US server Triforce, With its location so far away from people’s home connections they’re having troubles remaining connected without lagging. This is why it is my great pleasure to announce our latest addition to the family: Equinox.fr.eu.*, This server has been brought in for our EU users to help reduce lag when connected to the network.
The new server will be administrated by sysErroR and operated by Chelle, who we’re already on the team but have just been moved to the new client server.
You can connect to equinox directly by connecting to equinox.nixtrixirc.net, otherwise it is in our Round Robbin and you can connect to it randomly.
We hope this reduces the problems on the network and allows for further expansion.
Moving on, we can now see the website being cluttered with more content daily… We’re working hard on ensuring the website has all the information you will need when using the network.
Staff Changes: As you may be aware Bertrum stepped down a few weeks ago to follow on with further projects, he still remains active within the network but wants some peace and quiet away from being staff. This meant there was an open position and we decided to bring Chelle onto our team, Chelle brings alot of new fresh ideas to the team and is always willing to help. So we wish her the best of luck.
Janus: As you also may of seen the network implemented a small janus network between several different networks, this allowed us all to share channels and share users with each other. But problems have kept occuring with this software and until they are ironed out i regret to announce the link has indeed been removed until further notice. This ISNT the end of janus, we just want to ensure it’s stability to come back to the network as it was causing problems left right and center.
