As of late you may of noticed several downtimes of services and splits between servers, this was due to a problem on our main hub..

Our hub is usually extremely stable and I haven’t been able to complain about it what so ever, so it has come to a shock to me that I’m having to write this post about downtime… None the less, We found that after contacting our hosting the power supply of the server had broken and they we’re trying to fix it to return power… 24 hours later and the server was back on… all was stable.. Until…

Today I come online around 5pm GMT to see the server offline, once again after speaking with the hosting company they told me a new power supply was needed and that they we’re working on it. Well it returned around 3am GMT and is fully functional with a new power supply. Hopefully this will be the end of all the stability problems…

So thats the reason for all the problems and now hopefully we can relax and chill… no more problems.

Moving onto some good news,

I would like to announce the partnership of ConflictIRC onto the network. As alot of you may know I’m an ex Founder of this network and left several months ago due to me wanting to start a fresh new project. ConflictIRC has merged into NixtrixIRC and you can now find its main channel (#Home) onto the network so we would like to wish its admin (FknBish) and owner (xiii13xiii – Hes also an root network admin on NixtrixIRC).

Its gives me a great pleasure to announce xiii13xiii as the new co owner of NixtrixIRC, he has been with me on the network since i literally booted up the first ever server, since then hes been an excellent friend and excellent member of staff. With me running several projects at once, this allows me to ensure that the network will always been maintained even if I am not around. So congrats 13.. send the nakies to my usual email.
